How to Customize Your Lock Screen in Windows 8

In Windows 8, Microsoft adds the Lock Screen feature to the system. Though it is very common to a tablet, it can be used in desktops or laptops as well. In fact, it is not the desktop background but contains some widgets, which can display some quick notifications, such as weather, new messages, calendar and the like when your PC is still locked. How to Change Lock Screen Background

Step 1: Press Win + C to Open Charm Bar

Step 2: Then, click on Settings

Step 3: click the Change PC Settings link

Step 4: Now go to Personalization and click on it

Step 5: click on Lock screen and choose one of the photos which Windows 8 recommends. If you don’t like them, you can click on Browse to choose your personal image as the background.
