How to Enable Aero Peek in Windows 7

Aero Peek is a useful feature in Windows. It can help you save time and get a specific open window or running application quickly by providing better visibility to what you have open and running if you know how to use it. This tutorial will show you how to turn Aero Peek on or off in Windows 7.

If you want to completely enable Aero Peek, you will need to right-click on the taskbar and then select Properties.


In Taskbar tab, check the check box of Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop under Preview desktop with Aero Peek section. Click OK button and close the dialog.

If you want to enable Aero Peek everything including the taskbar thumbnails, you will need to open System Properties in Control Panel.

1. Right-click on Computer icon on the desktop, and the select Properties.


2. Select Advanced system settings in the right pane to open System Properties.


3. Move to Advanced tab, and click the Settings button under Performance section.

4. Search for View advanced system settings, and then check Enable Aero Peek.
