How to Enable the Quick Launch bar in Windows 8

By default, the Quick Launch bar does not show up on the Taskbar. What is it? This feature can help you run various programs quickly and show the desktop by only click an item rather than minimizing all windows. Step 1: Launch your system and go to Desktop

Step 2: access to the Control Panel (How to access to control panel in Windows 8)

Step 3: double click Folder Options

Step 4: navigate to View tab

Step 5: select Show hidden files, folders, and drives>click OK>close the Control Panel window

Step 6: right click the Toolbar

Step 7: navigate to Toolbars>click New toolbar…when the dropped menu appears

Step 8: navigate to this path: “C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer” >select the “Quick Launch” folder>click on Select Folder

Now, you can see the “Quick Lanuch” toolbar appearing on your Taskbar.
