How to Open Registry Editor in Windows 8

It is a little complicated to run the Registry Editor in Windows 8 because in this system, there is no Start Menu on the Task bar like Windows 7 does. Therefore, many users may be confused how to access to the Registry Editor. For those common people who are not very familiar with Windows 8, we display a step-by-step guide here to show them how to open the Registry Editor.

Step 1: Press Win + R on your keyboard.

Step 2: type “regedit” (without the quotes) and press “OK”

Step 3: You will get the UAC which asks you to confirm if you want to open Register Editor. Then please hit “Yes”
