Step by Step to Disable Windows Store in Windows 8

If you find that you have little use for the Windows Store, you can follow the tutorial below to disable access to the Window Store in Windows 8. After you do this, you can prevent other users to use the Windows Store. This guide shows you how to disable it via the Group Policy. Now, let’s see.

Step 1: please press Win + R to get the Run box, and then type “gpedit.msc” in the box and hit Enter

Step 2: now the Group Policy should be opened. Please navigate to this path:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Store

Step 3: go to the right-side pane and you will find the Turn off the Store application setting. Now double click on it.

Step 4: click on the Enabled radio button to change the setting and click OK to save the changes.
